Single Hopper Scale

The Jesma hopper scale type VBE/EEK is a modularly designed hopper scale with built-in chain conveyor. The VBE/EEK is designed for industrial use in modern process systems where the high degree of automation requires a solid and reliable construction. The hopper scales are carried out in dustproof execution and designed for a low built-in height. The scale is delivered with adjustable cover over the scraper chain ensuring complete emptying.

The VBE/EEK consist of the following main elements: load cells, legs and weigh bin and scraper chain in various module lengths. This creates high flexibility and various adjustment possibilities. The scale is placed on legs where a load cell is mounted. The hopper and the scraper chain are suspended directly in the load cells. Each leg has a test platform for placing of the weights upon testing of the scale. Normally the scale contains a number of dosing screws, through dustproof connections in the hopper lid. When the scale reaches the desired amount, the material is conveyed out of the scale by means of the scraper chain in the bottom of the weigh bin.

The hopper scale is approvable for Atex 21 inside the scale and zone 22 outside the scale.
